Job Summary: Tragsatec, a subsidiary of the TRAGSA GROUP, is seeking a Laboratory Technician for Agricultural Health, performing molecular biology techniques and assisting in laboratory quality management and procurement. Collaborating in waste management and cleaning of laboratory equipment **Positions Available** ---------------------- 1 **Company** ----------- Tragsatec **Project / Reason for Hiring** --------------------------------- Tecnologías y Servicios Agrarios, S.A., S.M.E., M.P., a subsidiary of the TRAGSA GROUP specializing in engineering, consultancy, and technical assistance services in agricultural, livestock, forestry, and environmental fields, seeks to hire 1 Laboratory Technician to perform tasks related to Agricultural Health in Lugo. **Work Location** -------------------- * Lugo **Functions and Tasks** ---------------------- * Performing techniques, primarily molecular biology techniques, for diagnosis and molecular characterization of plant health pathogens * Preparing and processing samples, reagents, and reference materials * Assisting the laboratory's integrated quality management system * Assisting in procurement of laboratory materials, supervising and controlling orders and associated documentation, recording products, reviewing and monitoring stock levels, and managing the material inventory database * Collaborating in horizontal tasks such as sample registration, cleaning of laboratory equipment, warehouse operations, and waste management **Specific Requirements** -------------------------- Compliance with the requirements and/or merits must be substantiated through evaluation tests and/or by attaching the required documentation in the “Annexes” section of the application questionnaire. The Tragsa Group reserves the right to request at any stage of the process documentary evidence supporting the information provided in the application, as well as to require additional information from the candidate’s CV whenever necessary to verify the stated requirements and/or merits outlined in this job posting. ### **Education** #### **Qualifications** * Hold a Higher Vocational Training (FP II) or Higher Vocational Education and Training Cycle qualification in the professional families of Health, Chemistry, Food Industries, Safety and Environment, Agriculture, and/or Maritime-Fisheries (qualification recognized in Spain or equivalence certificate issued by the General Secretariat of Universities) **Merit Criteria (Evaluable)** ------------------------ ### **Prior Experience** * 3 months to 1 year of experience performing molecular biology techniques such as PCR (professional, academic, or both) (to be verified during technical evaluation) * 3 months to 1 year of experience performing microbiology techniques (professional, academic, or both) (to be verified during technical evaluation) * 3 months to 1 year of experience performing other diagnostic techniques including immunology, physicochemical analysis, chromatography, etc. (professional, academic, or both) (to be verified during technical evaluation) * 3 months to 1 year of experience using laboratory information management systems for sample and warehouse material traceability and tracking (professional, academic, or both) * 3 months to 1 year of experience in procurement management of materials, primarily laboratory supplies, order tracking, stock control, warehouse operations, and document management (professional, academic, or both) * 3 months to 1 year of experience working in diagnostic laboratories, including sample reception, processing, and registration (professional, academic, or both) (to be verified during technical evaluation) * 3 months to 1 year of experience working in laboratories accredited under ISO/IEC 17025, applying standardized operating procedures, and participating in audits (professional, academic, or both) (to be verified during technical evaluation) **Observations** ----------------- * Offer includes: + Fixed-term contract estimated at 6 months, extendable up to a maximum total duration of 9 months, if applicable. + In case of signing a trainee/traineeship contract, the candidate’s qualification must be directly related to the duties of the position offered, enabling performance of activities appropriate to the qualification linked to the traineeship contract, thereby ensuring adequate professional practice aligned with the candidate’s academic level. + Full-time work schedule.
