Coordinate with accounts receivable. **Description:** ---------------- **Hospital Ribera Covadonga is seeking a Billing Technician** Description: This position will be a member of the Hospital’s billing team, covering various customer types: * Ensure billing is performed in compliance with business rules and applicable tax regulations for each customer type. * Ensure the integrity of the Hospital’s billing based on actual activity performed. * Implement electronic invoicing, evaluating and resolving any incidents that may arise during the process. * Automate billing and activity review processes. * Promote digitization across departmental processes. * Coordinate with the accounts receivable department to ensure workflows function correctly. * Other duties inherent to the department. **Requirements:** --------------- * Academic Qualifications: Higher Technician in Administration and Finance * Prior Experience: * Prior experience performing the above-described functions within a billing department in a healthcare environment (hospitals, clinics, health insurers, etc.). * Experience working in dynamic environments with a results-oriented approach. * Desirable experience handling large billing volumes and diverse customer types. * Technical and Management Skills: * Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (primarily Excel) is mandatory. * Ability to make decisions and resolve problems autonomously, with appropriate reporting. * Strong communication and assertiveness skills. * Effective time management.
