**Summary** ----------- Welcome to Hyatt Centric Gran Vía Madrid \& Thompson Madrid! Are you looking for an opportunity to apply your accounting knowledge and develop your skills in the finance area? Our Finance Department is seeking a new intern to complete a 6-month internship. During the internship, you will have the opportunity to work alongside industry professionals, gain hands-on experience, and learn firsthand how the Finance Department of not one, but three luxury hotels is managed. You will have the opportunity to perform tasks such as: * Assisting the department with accounting for received invoices. * Reconciling customer payments * Supporting the daily revenue audit for both hotels * Vendor management: system onboarding and incident tracking * Reconciling vendor payments * Preparing the monthly payment batch. * Supporting the analysis of accounting accounts. * Submitting issued invoices to the tax agency after reviewing their status. **Qualifications** ------------------ We offer a weekly schedule of 35 hours, Monday to Thursday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Fridays from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. In return, you will receive a gross monthly stipend of €600, as well as access to the employee cafeteria to enjoy a balanced lunch each day. We are seeking a student majoring in Business Administration and Management (ADE)/Accounting/Economics/Finance who meets the following requirements: * Candidates with academic backgrounds in ADE and Tourism, Hotel Management, or Hospitality Management—bringing a financial perspective to the tourism business—are especially valued. * It is mandatory to be able to sign a collaboration agreement with your school/institution.
