**POSITION:** **Data Engineer (H/M/D)** ===================================== DATE: 24 Oct 2025 LOCATION: Madrid COMPANY: GRUPO ILUNION ID: 27115 LOCATION TYPE: Hybrid **Job Position:** ---------------------- **Data Engineer** – Corporate Data Function **Responsibilities:** ---------------------- * Design, develop and maintain data pipelines (ETL/ELT) under the Medallion architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold) within the Microsoft ecosystem. * Ensure data availability, quality and governance for consumption in Power BI. * Implement analytical data models (cubes, tabular) using Microsoft tools (Analysis Services or others) to enable self-service analytics. * Integrate and orchestrate data from multiple sources, including external APIs, SQL databases and internal systems. * Collaborate with Data Science teams to provide datasets and support analytical processes. * Participate in the evolution towards Microsoft Fabric and Copilot, ensuring adoption of best practices. * Apply modern CI/CD methodologies (Git, Azure DevOps) for data lifecycle management. **Functions:** -------------- * Data ingestion, transformation and optimization in Databricks and Synapse. * Creation of scalable and secure pipelines for production environments. * Development of semantic models for business users in Power BI. * Technical and functional documentation of processes and models. * Monitoring and continuous performance improvement of implemented solutions. **CANDIDATE PROFILE REQUIRED** ======================================= **Education:** -------------- * Higher degree in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, Mathematics, Statistics or equivalent. * Master's degree in Big Data, Data Engineering or related fields is desirable. **Language Skills:** ----------------------------- * Native Spanish. * Professional English (minimum B2, C1 preferred). **Other Requirements:** ---------- * Solid knowledge of Python and SQL. * Experience with Databricks, Synapse and Power BI. * Familiarity with Microsoft Analysis Services or equivalent tools for tabular models. * Good command of APIs and data orchestration. * Knowledge of CI/CD (Git, Azure DevOps). * Interest in AI Engineering and emerging technologies (Microsoft Fabric, Copilot). **Competencies and Skills:** ------------------------------- * Analytical ability and results orientation. * Autonomy and proactivity. * Effective communication and teamwork. **EXPERIENCE** =============== * Sectors: Technology, Consulting, Data Analytics or similar. * Positions: Data Engineer, Data Platform Engineer or related roles. * Years of experience: Approximately 3 years. **Additional Information:** -------------------------- * Salary: *35\.000€ to 45\.000€.* * Contract type: Permanent. * Disability Certificate required. * Availability to travel: Yes (occasionally). * Relocation: No. * Ability to travel independently: Yes.
