




The Universidad Católica de Murcia (UCAM), in collaboration with the research group GRITA and UKEIM, is opening a call for the incorporation of a Predoctoral Researcher within the framework of the ADASROAD project. This project focuses on the development of Artificial Intelligence and Computer Vision technologies applied to future mobility, aiming to improve the safety, efficiency, and sustainability of roads adapted to advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) and autonomous driving. Main responsibilities The selected candidate will join a multidisciplinary team and participate in applied research tasks, including: * Development of computer vision models for real-time detection of incidents and disconnections in ADAS systems. * Design, training, and optimization of deep neural networks with architectures such as YOLO, ResNet, EfficientNet, or MobileNet. * Implementation of data augmentation techniques, cross-validation, and hyperparameter optimization. * Support in the development of backend systems for analysis and visualization of results. * Construction of predictive models for road infrastructure deterioration, combining visual and unstructured data. * Collaboration in scientific publications, international conferences, and technology transfer to industry. Requirements: * Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or related fields. * Valued technical skills: * Programming in Python and Deep Learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch). * Image processing with OpenCV. * Development of web applications and APIs (HTML/JS/CSS, FastAPI or Flask). * MLOps tools (MLFlow, DVC, Kubeflow). * Previous experience in computer vision projects applied to transportation, automotive, or industrial environments will be an advantage. * Advanced level of English.
