DESCRIPTION At sg tech, we are looking to hire a V\&V Engineer – Railway Traffic Management Systems (TMS) You will participate in an international project focused on the development of a Rail Traffic Management System (TMS), a state-of-the-art railway traffic management system currently in its final development phase and beginning testing for commissioning. You will join a leading company in technological solutions for the transportation sector, working with modern architectures and technologies in a demanding and highly regulated environment. **Location and Working Mode** * Main workplace: San Fernando de Henares (Madrid), building Japón 2\. * Work mode: nearly 100% remote. * Residency in the Community of Madrid is required due to the need for occasional on-site presence during testing activities. **Job Mission** As a Verification and Validation (V\&V) Engineer, you will be responsible for reviewing and validating TMS system V\&V documentation and activities, ensuring compliance with railway safety standards (EN 50128\) and proper traceability among requirements, design, code, and tests. **Main Responsibilities** * Review and issue V\&V documentation: * Test plans and specifications. * Development documentation. * Source code documentation. * Verify that V\&V documentation complies with applicable standards (primarily EN 50128\). * Review test protocols, results, and evidence, ensuring correct traceability with requirements. * Manage and track requirements, incidents, and non-conformities. * Collaborate with engineering, quality, and safety teams to align criteria and resolve deviations identified during reviews. * Prepare review reports and minutes, as well as support internal and external audits. REQUIREMENTS **Education** University degree in Industrial Engineering, preferably with specialization in Electronics and/or Telecommunications, or other related technical or higher engineering disciplines. **Essential Requirements** * Prior experience in Verification and Validation activities, ideally in railway safety products or systems. * Experience in requirements management, traceability, and review of tests and technical documentation. * Good command of English, with ability to work with technical documentation and attend technical meetings. * Proficiency with documentation and task management tools: * Office suite. * Jira. * (Highly desirable) Mind or other planning tools. * Experience with validation and requirements management tools: * Enterprise Architect. * DOORS. * Knowledge of railway signaling products and systems, especially: * TMS (Traffic Management Systems / Railway Traffic Management Systems). * CTC (Centralized Traffic Control). **Desirable Competencies** * Solid knowledge of railway safety standards (EN 50128 or other functional railway safety standards). * Experience in international projects and multinational environments. * Analytical skills, attention to detail, and strong focus on quality. * Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams and under tight deadlines. **Personal Profile** * Methodical, organized person with excellent documentation skills. * Proactive in identifying deviations and proposing improvements. * Strong communication skills, both oral and written, in Spanish and English.
