About the External Affairs area The intern will join the **External Affairs** team, gaining insight into how regulatory, political, and business environments related to the energy sector are monitored and analyzed. During the internship, the participant will become especially familiar with issues concerning the **energy transition, sustainability, and industrial decarbonization**, both in Spain and across the European Union. This internship will enable understanding of how relevant environmental changes are identified, how their potential implications are analyzed, and how information from diverse sources is transformed into structured content facilitating comprehension by specialized teams. Training plan and activities Always under the guidance and supervision of the External Affairs team, the intern will have the opportunity to: * Learn how to conduct **regulatory and policy monitoring** related to energy, the energy transition, sustainability, and industrial decarbonization. * Become familiar with the institutional and regulatory frameworks of **Spain and the European Union**, understanding their evolution and relationship with the energy sector. * Collaborate in collecting, organizing, and analyzing information from public, regulatory, and institutional sources. * Learn how to identify trends and relevant events in the energy sector and synthesize their key elements. * Participate in preparing **reports, analyses, and monitoring materials**, developing the ability to transform complex information into clear, structured content. * Become familiar with stakeholder analysis methodologies, understanding the role of various actors participating in the energy and institutional ecosystem. * Collaborate in analyzing data and indicators related to energy, sustainability, and decarbonization. * Develop competencies in **Excel, Power BI, and other analytical tools**, applying them to information processing and visualization. * Learn how to prepare presentations and visual materials that facilitate communication of regulatory, policy, and sectoral trends. * Participate in cross-functional projects within the department to understand how different profiles and teams coordinate in an international setting. * Develop critical thinking skills to interpret information from diverse sources and distinguish elements relevant to each analysis. * Learn methodologies for process improvement and digitalization in information collection, analysis, and communication.
