The Challenge We are looking for a Financial Controller to join a leading company in the fitness and wellness sector, currently undergoing rapid expansion, headquartered in Málaga. The candidate will integrate into the finance team and play a significant role in management control, reporting, and analysis supporting business decision-making. As Financial Controller, you will be responsible for: * Preparing and overseeing periodic financial reporting, ensuring reliability and timeliness of information * Conducting budgetary control, analyzing variances between actual and budgeted figures, and providing business explanations * Developing analytical accounting and profitability analyses by center, unit, or business line * Collaborating on monthly and annual closings in coordination with the accounting team * Participating in cross-functional continuous improvement projects, automation, and optimization of financial processes * Providing analytical support to the finance leadership team in strategic decision-making Requirements * University degree in Business Administration and Management (ADE), Economics, Finance, or related field * Minimum 5 years of experience in finance roles related to controlling, reporting, or analytical accounting * Advanced Excel skills (a technical test will be administered) * Analytical, organized profile with strong attention to detail * Ability to work effectively in dynamic and multinational environments Nice-to-Have * Knowledge of Power BI * Experience with Sage X3 * Familiarity with IFRS 16 standards * Experience in audit processes or corporate acquisitions What We Offer * Joining a sector-leading company in full expansion * Participation in cross-functional and continuous improvement projects * A dynamic, collaborative, and innovation-oriented environment * Opportunities for learning and professional development * An attractive employee benefits package * Location in Málaga Note on the Process At Tessera, we manage the recruitment process jointly with the client company, supporting both the client and candidates throughout all stages, with a close, transparent, and professional approach.
