Job Summary: We are seeking a Geriatric Care Assistant with a caring vocation to provide direct care to elderly individuals and support in daily living activities, working collaboratively with the healthcare team. Opportunity for continuity in future temporary assignments or permanent vacancy A residential facility located in Sitges is looking for a Geriatric Care Assistant to fill a temporary vacancy under the Work and Training Programme linked to SOC. We seek a person with a caring vocation, flexibility, and availability for immediate incorporation. What do we offer? * 8-month contract with high likelihood of extension * Full-time schedule: 37.5 hours per week * Morning shift: 7:30 AM – 2:30 PM * Work schedule: 7 days on – 2 days off – 7 days on – 2 days off – 7 days on – 3 days off. Minimum one long weekend per month (Fri\-Sat\-Sun) * Salary according to GERCAT collective agreement: * 14 monthly payments * \+€23 for Sundays * \+€50 for public holidays * Uniform and footwear provided by the company * Positive work environment and established team * **Opportunity for continuity in future temporary assignments or permanent vacancy.** Responsibilities: * Direct care of elderly individuals (hygiene, feeding, mobility) * Support in daily living activities * Collaborative work with the healthcare team * Monitoring residents' well-being Requirements: * Qualification in TCAE (Technical Care Assistant in Health) or Sociohealthcare Assistance * Being in a state of **long-term unemployment**: having been unemployed for at least 12 months, consecutively or not, within the last 18 months. * Registered as a jobseeker with SOC. * Prior experience is valued * Immediate availability Are you interested?
