Job Summary: We are seeking a Junior Financial Controller to analyze, control, and optimize financial processes, supporting budgeting, reporting, and accounting closings. Key Highlights: 1. Support in budgetary control and variance analysis. 2. Preparation of financial and operational reports, updating of KPIs. 3. Support in accounting closings and validation of financial information. **What You Can Expect** **: At Rhenus Overland Transport, we seek a Junior Financial Controller who contributes to the analysis, control, and optimization of our financial processes. Responsibilities and tasks: * Budgetary control support: monitoring of the annual budget, actual vs. budget comparison, and variance analysis. Preparation of monthly financial performance reports. * Financial and operational reporting: preparation of periodic reports (monthly, quarterly). Updating of financial KPIs: revenue, margin, EBITDA, cash flow, etc. Preparation of presentations for management. * Basic financial analysis: cost analysis by department, project, or business unit. Simple financial modeling (forecasting, simulations), support in profitability analysis of products/services. * Support in accounting closings: review of provisions, accruals, and adjustments. Preparation of documentation for internal/external audits. Validation of the integrity of information received from other departments. Use of tools such as advanced Excel (mandatory), Power BI, SAP (desirable), etc. * Internal department support: interaction with procurement, sales, and operations to gather information. Collaboration on internal financial efficiency projects. Participation in process improvement initiatives. **What You Bring:** Requirements: * Higher education degree related to finance. * B2 level English is mandatory; German is desirable. * Advanced Excel proficiency is mandatory. * SAP knowledge. * Basic knowledge of Power BI (desirable). * Ability to work under pressure and solve problems efficiently.
