Our purpose is unequivocal: to develop technologies that save and improve lives. **Position:** ----------- We are currently looking for a **Financial Controller Junior** to join our Finance team at our offices in **Sant Vicenç dels Horts (Barcelona).** Your primary objective will be to support the Finance Department in managing and controlling accounts payable, financial reporting, and tax compliance obligations—ensuring accurate bookkeeping, investment tracking, and leadership in audit and monthly closing processes. **RESPONSIBILITIES AND FUNCTIONS:** * Accounting and Tax Management: - Preparation of monthly closing entries and related reconciliations. - Filing of periodic tax returns (VAT, Personal Income Tax, intra-EU transactions, etc.). - Execution of supplier payments, including bulk transfers and extraordinary foreign-currency payments. * Investment and Budget Control: - Tracking of investments by responsible person and project, including planning via Gantt charts. - Monitoring of stock turnover as an indicator of operational efficiency. - Budgetary control per department and specific tracking of items such as marketing expenses. * Financial Reporting and Analysis: - Preparation of financial reports for specific group units. - Analysis of average supplier payment terms and other key performance indicators. - Review and validation of supplier invoices in accordance with internal policies. - Support during financial audits by providing required documentation and analysis. * Compliance and Internal Control Support: - Coordination with relevant departments to ensure compliance with accounting and tax policies. - Tracking of investments and budgets according to internal regulations. - Maintenance of up-to-date accounting and tax records. - Collaboration in internal control processes and external audits. - Support for corporate projects and initiatives. **Requirements:** --------------- **DESIRED PROFILE:** * Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Management and/or Economics. * Master’s degree in Finance, Management Control, or Business Analytics (desirable). * Minimum 1\-3 years of experience in a similar role. * Analytical capability to interpret financial data, analyze budgets, and monitor investments. * Organizational and time-management skills to coordinate multiple tasks. * Proficiency in office software and ERP systems. * Effective communication skills to collaborate with other departments, investment managers, and external entities (tax authorities/auditors). * Fluent English (minimum B2 level).
