We are seeking a **Project Engineer II** for a client project in Barcelona. **Responsibilities:** * Within their scope of responsibility, ensures that engineering and procurement/subcontracting activities are carried out according to schedule, man-hours, equipment, material budget, and contractual specifications. * Ensures timely and proper preparation of IFC (Issued for Construction) engineering documents, appropriate for their intended purpose. * Ensures timely communication to Project Management and the operational manager regarding activity progress, critical deviations, and/or potential risks. * Enforces corporate QHSES policies within their area of responsibility. * Ensures interdisciplinary consistency of design and procurement documents. * Contributes to obtaining client approval of technical documents. * Ensures preparation of required documentation for permitting processes (as stipulated by contract and regulatory authorities). * Ensures all disciplines under their responsibility have access to all necessary information and data to perform their activities. * Contributes to defining equipment lists. * Responsible for cross-disciplinary activities, such as specific inter-disciplinary reviews and action plans. **Requirements:** * Degree in Engineering or equivalent * Prior experience as a Coordinator in Process, Engineering, or other technical disciplines involved in project execution Fluency in English and Spanish * **Additional Information:** * Permanent employment contract with the company * 23 days of vacation \+ 3 personal days * Customized flexible compensation program Notes: * Candidates holding a disability certificate will be given preference * Only applications from candidates authorized to work in Spain will be considered.
