Position Mission:
Ensure maximum guest and client satisfaction and well-being before, during, and after each event, guaranteeing adherence to the hotel’s quality standards, procedures, and policies.
You will be fully responsible for managing each assigned account, serving as the primary client contact from event confirmation through administrative and operational closure, coordinating necessary internal resources to deliver an exceptional experience and ensure the success of every event.
Key Responsibilities:
* Organize and coordinate hotel events, ranging from small meetings to large conferences, conventions, and celebrations.
* Negotiate and manage event-related contracts and hotel services, taking responsibility for group closings up to formal contract execution.
* Develop and monitor event budgets, ensuring profitability and sound financial management.
* Issue invoices, manage collections and vouchers, and track payments until event completion.
* Deliver outstanding service, ensuring maximum client and guest satisfaction and loyalty.
* Coordinate event logistics with various hotel departments to ensure flawless execution and a distinctive experience for attendees.
* Evaluate event outcomes, collect feedback, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
* Participate in periodic team meetings to plan future events and maintain smooth communication with involved departments, ensuring coordinated and efficient service delivery.
* Track commercial requests and opportunities to maximize group conversion.
* Fully manage MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences & Exhibitions) and Leisure groups—from preparing commercial proposals and confirming reservations through operational coordination and final event billing.
Experience:
* Minimum 2\-3 years’ experience in a similar role within the hospitality or events industry.
* Demonstrable experience in planning, coordinating, and managing events, including contract negotiation and administration.
* Experience managing MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences & Exhibitions) groups within the hospitality sector.
* Experience managing groups end-to-end—from quotation to final billing—is highly desirable.
* Technical Knowledge and Competencies
* Proficiency in Opera PMS (Property Management System)
* Understanding of hotel operations and group and event management processes.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook.
* Excellent organizational, planning, and time-management skills.
* Strong customer orientation and service mindset.
* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure while meeting deadlines.
* Attention to detail, analytical capability, and problem-solving skills.
* High-level proficiency in both Spanish and English; knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.
Compensation aligned with the collective bargaining agreement for the hospitality sector and a variable incentive system.
