Description
PURPOSE
Conduct mandatory and voluntary technical inspections at client facilities, equipment, products, or environments, evaluating their compliance with applicable regulations and Bureau Veritas protocols.
You will primarily work on-site (industry, construction sites, facilities, warehouses, vessels, agri-food), with office-based report preparation. Your involvement will ensure client safety, quality, and legal compliance.
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Prepare inspections by reviewing documentation, applicable regulations, and historical data of the equipment or facility.
* Conduct on-site inspections: visual, dimensional, functional, and testing as appropriate.
* Verify compliance of equipment, facilities, products, or environments with current regulations.
* Identify non-conformities, collect objective evidence, and propose necessary corrective actions.
* Issue inspection reports and certificates with the traceability and rigor required by BV and the accrediting body.
* Communicate findings to the client clearly, technically, and constructively.
* Follow up on non-conformities until closure.
* Operate and verify assigned measurement and inspection equipment, ensuring calibration and maintenance.
* Comply with BV internal procedures, impartiality requirements, and confidentiality obligations.
* Maintain up-to-date technical qualifications (recertifications, continuous training, NDT levels, etc.).
* Apply mandatory safety rules and personal protective equipment (PPE) for each work environment.
REQUIREMENTS
* Vocational training or technical degree relevant to the inspection field.
* Prior experience in inspection, maintenance, or operation within the corresponding sector.
* Knowledge of applicable regulatory and technical standards (industrial, environmental, sector-specific).
* Valid driver's license and willingness to travel.
* Technical rigor, attention to detail, report writing skills, and professional client interaction.
