Position Summary: We are seeking a linguistics specialist to ensure the quality and consistency of texts in Basque and German, adapting content and managing translations. Key Responsibilities: 1. Ensure linguistic quality of texts in Basque and German 2. Coordinate translators and manage multilingual documentation 3. Key role in content adaptation and communication We seek a candidate with in-depth knowledge of Basque, ideally holding a university degree in Translation or a related field. The role involves ensuring the linguistic quality of Basque texts for user interfaces. This includes supervising and coordinating translators, reviewing materials, and guaranteeing that communication is clear, accurate, and consistent. Your work will be crucial in adapting content and ensuring every word fulfills its communicative function. Additionally, you will draft technical texts in German based on documentation to maintain uniform terminology. You will closely monitor updates, comparing versions to identify and manage new texts. You will prepare clear instructions for translators and manage the import and validation of translations within the system. You will conduct reviews on prototypes to correct visual or formatting errors. Organization, attention to detail, and collaboration are essential. Prior experience in translation or multilingual documentation management is an advantage. Native or bilingual proficiency in Basque, advanced English (C1 or higher), advanced Spanish (C1 or higher), and strong Excel skills are required. This is a permanent position with flexible working hours and a hybrid work model. Bachelor’s degree in Translation or related field. Experience in translation and/or multilingual documentation management. Native or bilingual Basque (C2\). Advanced English (C1\). Advanced Spanish (C1\). Strong Excel skills. Organized mindset, attention to detail, and willingness to work collaboratively. Two years of experience preferred.
