Position Summary: Residencia Llar Girona is seeking a gerocultural caregiver to assist and accompany semi-autonomous elderly individuals, promoting their autonomy and emotional well-being within a family-like environment. Residencia Llar Girona seeks to incorporate a gerocultural caregiver to join our team at a family-style residence for 22 semi-autonomous elderly residents. Main Responsibilities \- Providing assistance and companionship to residents in their daily living activities. \- Supporting personal hygiene and monitoring overall well-being. \- Cleaning common areas and resident rooms. \- Collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to ensure high-quality care. \- Promoting residents’ autonomy and emotional well-being. \- Maintaining a safe, pleasant, and respectful environment. \- Supporting daily living activities. \- Promoting autonomy and well-being of elderly individuals. * Experience: 1 year. \- Prior experience of at least 6 months in geriatric residences, day centers, or home-based care for elderly individuals will be valued. \- Experience assisting and accompanying elderly individuals in basic daily living activities. \- Knowledge of patient mobilization, personal hygiene, meal administration, and general health observation of residents. \- Ability to work independently and in coordination with the rest of the team. \- Experience in small-scale facilities, where close and personalized interaction with residents is a fundamental part of the work, will be especially valued. * Medium-level Vocational Training Qualification (FP de Grau Mig) * Catalan (Intermediate spoken and written proficiency) * Spanish (Advanced spoken and written proficiency) * Competencies / Knowledge: \- Official qualification as Gerocultural Caregiver, Nursing Assistant, Caregiver for Dependent Persons, or equivalent. \- Empathy and vocation for caregiving. \- Approachable, respectful, and professional manner. \- Responsibility, commitment, and punctuality. \- Teamwork skills. \- Communication and active listening skills. \- Observational ability and attention to detail. \- Initiative and autonomy in task execution. \- Flexibility and adaptability. \- Knowledge of basic care for elderly individuals. \- Service orientation and humane treatment of elderly individuals. * Indefinite-term employment contract * Full-time schedule * Additional Information of Interest: Salary according to the State Agreement on Dependency.
