Description
We are seeking an experienced **cook** to work in the kitchen of our senior residence. The selected candidate will be responsible for preparing balanced and nutritionally tailored menus for residents, ensuring food quality, food safety, and a warm, human-centered approach.
Main responsibilities
* Preparation of daily menus according to dietary guidelines and special needs (e.g., diabetes, allergies, modified textures, etc.).
* Organization, control, and efficient use of raw materials.
* Supervision and maintenance of kitchen hygiene and cleanliness.
* Allergen control and compliance with food safety regulations.
* Coordination with the healthcare and direct-care teams to adapt diets appropriately.
Requirements
* Training in **Culinary Arts / Hospitality** or proven experience as a cook.
* Knowledge of adapted diets and food handling.
* Valid food handler’s certificate.
* Organizational skills, responsibility, and ability to work in a team.
* Prior experience in collective catering or socio-healthcare facilities is desirable.
