What would your mission be? As a **Product Engineer**, your main responsibilities will be: * Collaborating with the Technical Manager of the area to ensure technical feasibility of the product during the quotation and development phases, following established procedures. * Incorporating already standardized solutions and applying prior learnings across all development processes, regardless of the business unit’s client. * Participating in design reviews under the guidance of the Design Specialist. * Coordinating prototype delivery and product development according to customer-defined timelines. * Participating in product and process FMEA analyses. * Evaluating product test technical reports and collaborating with the Quality Engineer during design to define appropriate corrective actions. * Supporting the production team during the product industrialization phase. * Efficiently managing technical changes arising during product development. * Contributing to improving the business unit’s competitiveness by optimizing product cost, quality, and performance—incorporating technical solutions derived from benchmarking studies and competitive analysis. * Working jointly with the procurement department and suppliers to improve component design regarding cost, quality, and manufacturability. * Supervising the development of 2D and 3D CAD designs. * Documenting and proposing technical lessons learned during the industrialization phase. * Maintaining smooth communication with the customer’s engineering team to ensure effective product development. **What will make you succeed in this role?** * University degree in engineering or equivalent professional experience. * Proficiency in German and/or English, both written and spoken. * Minimum of 2–3 years’ experience in a similar position. * Prior knowledge of mechanical-type products. * Knowledge of Catia V5 design is a plus.
