This position arises during a phase of expansion and professionalization of the finance function, offering the chance to assume a strategic role with high visibility and significant business impact. This is a key position within the team, involving direct interaction with senior management as well as operational and commercial departments. We seek a proactive, results-driven individual capable of implementing processes and generating valuable financial information to support decision-making. #### **Job Mission** The selected candidate will be responsible for leading the finance function, ensuring accurate accounting and tax compliance, financial control, financial planning, and reporting to management and investors. This is an operational and strategic role involving process improvement and financial governance. #### **Main Responsibilities** * **Accounting and Financial Close:** Oversee and execute monthly closings, ensure the quality of accounting information, and coordinate with external advisors (auditors, tax consultants). * **Reporting and Analysis:** Prepare periodic financial reports (P\&L, balance sheet, cash flow) and variance analysis, KPIs, and key metrics to support decision-making. * **Planning and Budgeting:** Lead the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and treasury plans, as well as monitoring and updating projections. * **Management Control:** Design and implement internal control systems and processes, define KPIs and dashboards to monitor financial performance. * **Treasury and Financing Management:** Manage cash positions, receivables/payables forecasts, relationships with financial institutions, and negotiate terms where applicable. * **Taxation and Compliance:** Ensure compliance with tax and regulatory obligations, coordinate with external advisors, and prepare required documentation for authorities. * **Cross-functional Support:** Support commercial and operations teams in economic evaluation of projects, pricing, and profitability analysis; collaborate on finance process improvement and automation initiatives. #### **Required Profile** We seek a hybrid profile with solid technical grounding in finance and practical experience in accounting and management control, capable of working autonomously in a dynamic environment. **Key Requirements:** * University degree in Economics, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field. * Minimum 7 years’ experience in finance roles (accounting, management control, or corporate finance), preferably in growing companies or project-based environments. * Strong knowledge of Spanish accounting standards and taxation. * Experience in preparing financial reporting, budgets, and forecasts. * Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced spreadsheet tools; experience with reporting/BI solutions is a plus. * Analytical ability, results orientation, and communication skills for effective interaction with senior management, operational teams, and external advisors. **Desirable:** * Experience in the energy sector, infrastructure, circular economy, or projects involving external financing. * Additional qualifications in corporate finance, auditing, or management control. * Intermediate-to-advanced level of English (technical proficiency) and experience reporting to investors or financial institutions. #### **Key Competencies** * Proactivity and action orientation. * Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks. * Autonomy and sense of responsibility. * Analytical rigor and attention to detail. * Clear, structured communication skills. * Flexibility and adaptability to a dynamic and growing environment. #### **What the Role Offers** * Join a company in an expansion phase, with direct impact on its financial strategy. * A highly visible role with immediate responsibility. * Real opportunities for professional growth and career development. * Flexible and hybrid work model in Barcelona. * Competitive salary and benefits package aligned with experience.
