Your mission will be to help solve real challenges, identify opportunities for improvement, and contribute to the company’s growth — always aligned with our data-driven strategy and culture. ### **How will you do it?** **Business needs analysis:** You will translate business challenges into structured analyses that deliver clear and actionable solutions. **Application of advanced analytics:** You will use statistical techniques and analytical models to generate value from data. **Opportunity identification:** You will detect improvements and new growth opportunities through data analysis. **Analysis and reporting:** You will conduct exploratory analyses and develop advanced reporting using tools such as SQL or Power BI. **Insight communication:** You will share results and recommendations clearly, facilitating decision-making across different organizational levels. **Team collaboration:** You will work closely with other teams to promote a data-driven culture and improve decision-making. ### **What will make you succeed at Brico Depôt?** We seek a candidate with a solid analytical foundation, curiosity about data, and a clear orientation toward business impact: * University degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Economics, Data Science, or related fields. * 2–5 years of experience in advanced analytics, data science, or similar roles. * Strong proficiency in Python (pandas, numpy, scikit-learn). * Solid knowledge of applied statistics. * Experience applying data science techniques—such as forecasting, classification, or segmentation—to solve business challenges. * Proficiency in SQL and visualization tools such as Power BI. * Ability to work autonomously, identify opportunities, and propose impactful solutions. * Skill in translating data into insights and communicating them clearly to diverse business stakeholders. ### **Bonus points if you also…** * Bring experience in retail environments (especially in construction or DIY sectors), including physical product management, inventory, or supply chain. * Are familiar with tools such as DBT for data transformation and platforms like Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery, Dataflow, etc.). * Have developed AI or machine learning projects applied to business use cases. * Are motivated to promote best analytical practices and contribute to team growth.
