What would be your mission? As a **Product Engineer**, your main responsibilities will be: * Collaborate with the technical lead of the area to ensure product technical feasibility during the bidding and development phases, following established procedures. * Integrate already standardized solutions and apply prior learnings across all development processes, regardless of the business unit’s client. * Participate in design reviews under the guidance of the design specialist. * Coordinate prototype delivery and product development according to client-defined timelines. * Participate in product and process FMEA analyses. * Evaluate product test technical reports and collaborate with the quality engineer in design to define appropriate corrective actions. * Support the production team during the product industrialization phase. * Efficiently manage technical changes arising during product development. * Contribute to enhancing the business unit’s competitiveness by optimizing product cost, quality, and performance—incorporating technical solutions derived from benchmarking studies and competitor analysis. * Work jointly with the procurement department and suppliers to improve component design in terms of cost, quality, and manufacturability. * Supervise the development of 2D and 3D CAD designs. * Document and propose technical learnings acquired during the industrialization phase. * Maintain smooth communication with the client’s engineering team to ensure effective product development. **What will make you succeed in this position?** * University degree in engineering or equivalent professional experience. * Proficiency in English, both spoken and written. * Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in a similar role. * Prior knowledge of mechanical-type products. * Knowledge of Catia V5 design is desirable.
