This role is vital for the proper management of transportation, communication with transportation service providers as well as correspondents and collaborators, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations and standards. The Traffic Operator acts as a specialist to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs. The Traffic Operator may be responsible for international traffic, automotive traffic, and/or domestic traffic (mainland Spain, islands, and TRW). Responsibilities: * Manage transportation routes to maximize efficiency and minimize costs. * Review vehicle and driver scheduling and allocation. * Manage transportation KPIs and make adjustments as necessary. * As a specialist, implement and maintain transportation management systems (TMS). * Properly manage transportation service providers. * Maintain good relationships with carriers and logistics providers. * Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and safety policies. * Maintain accurate records of all transportation and logistics activities. * Manage and resolve incidents related to freight transportation. * Supervise and coordinate distribution operations as an operator, ensuring correct load planning, delivery sequencing, and adherence to deadlines and service standards. **WHAT YOU BRING** ----------------------- Requirements: * Experience as a Traffic Operator or in similar roles. * Experience in transportation and logistics or trade (national/international) is recommended. * In-depth knowledge of transportation management processes and systems. * Practical knowledge of transportation management software tools (TMS). * Strong verbal and written communication skills. * Organizational and team management capabilities. * Ability to work under pressure and solve problems efficiently.
