YOUR NEW ROLE: We are looking for a Cost Control and Logistics Administration Technician to join our Operations Control team. YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Your objective will be to review and manage supplier invoices related to logistics operations and transportation, and to monitor and analyze costs and budget variances to ensure budget compliance, thereby guaranteeing accuracy and efficiency in our logistics operations. On a day-to-day basis, your main responsibilities will include: * Analyzing and monitoring costs associated with logistics and transportation operations. * Tracking and controlling deviations from the established budget. * Verifying and reviewing supplier invoices to ensure their accuracy and compliance with contractual agreements. * Collaborating with the finance team to ensure proper cost allocation and provisioning. * Preparing periodic reports on cost status and identified variances. * Identifying opportunities for savings and efficiency improvements in logistics and transportation processes. * Participating in the preparation of the annual budget and its periodic reviews. * Maintaining smooth communication with suppliers to resolve any invoice discrepancies. * Supporting the implementation of cost control tools and systems. * Collaborating with other departments to ensure alignment between financial and operational objectives. ABOUT YOU: * University degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related fields. * Minimum 2 years’ experience in invoice review, cost analysis, and variance control, preferably within the logistics or transportation sector. * Advanced knowledge of financial analysis and cost management tools. * Familiarity with SAP TM module or other ERP systems is highly valued. * Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in other Microsoft Office applications. * Ability to work with large volumes of data and perform detailed analysis. * Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team. * Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and resolve problems. * Proactive attitude and capacity to work autonomously.
