Identify inefficiencies and automation opportunities Our client, a leading multinational professional services and technology company, is looking for a Continuous Improvement Leader with specialized expertise in Process Intelligence and Process Mining to join their transformation team in Barcelona. The selected candidate will be responsible for leading data-driven process optimization initiatives, using process mining tools to uncover inefficiencies, identify automation opportunities, and improve operational efficiency in complex environments. What challenges await you? * Lead the implementation of data-driven continuous improvement programs, with a focus on process mining and process intelligence. * Use process mining tools (e.g., Celonis, UiPath Process Mining, or similar) to analyze real end-to-end process behavior. * Identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, deviations, and automation opportunities (RPA, AI) through analysis of event logs and transactional system data. * Translate process mining insights into concrete recommendations for process optimization and transformation. * Collaborate with business, IT, and automation teams to prioritize and execute improvement initiatives. * Coordinate and supervise continuous improvement specialists and process analysts. * Present findings and recommendations clearly and results-oriented to senior stakeholders (directors, leadership). * Stay up to date with the latest trends in process mining, AI applied to processes, and intelligent automation. What makes you the ideal candidate for this role? Education: Degree in Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications, Business Administration, or related field. Master’s degrees in Continuous Improvement, Lean Six Sigma, Business Analytics, or Digital Transformation are valued. Technical and functional skills (mandatory): * Minimum 5 years’ experience in continuous improvement programs, process transformation, or operations management. * Demonstrable experience in process mining using tools such as Celonis, UiPath Process Mining, SAP Signavio Process Intelligence, or similar. * Ability to analyze event logs and system data (SAP, Oracle, ServiceNow, etc.) to reconstruct and analyze end-to-end processes. * Solid knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies: Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, DMAIC. * Experience identifying and prioritizing automation opportunities (RPA, AI, workflow automation) based on data. * Ability to lead teams and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously. * Strong executive communication and data storytelling skills. * Advanced English (C1) (mandatory) for communication with international teams and global clients. Spanish is valued but not required. * IMPORTANT NOTE: A valid work visa enabling legal residence and employment in Spain is an absolute requirement. Desired experience (plus): * Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification or equivalent. * Familiarity with automation tools such as UiPath, Power Automate, or Blue Prism. * Experience in digital transformation projects within sectors such as banking, insurance, telecommunications, or retail. * Knowledge of visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau. * Ability to work with databases and write SQL queries for data extraction and preparation.
