




Boomerang is seeking an Area Manager specialized in the Contract Channel for an international company in the interior design, decoration, and product design sector. The selected candidate will be responsible for driving commercial development in international markets, managing B2B projects with clients in the hospitality, architecture, interior design, and premium contract sectors. This role combines active prospecting, project management and follow-up, engagement with specifiers, and negotiation with strategic accounts. * Key Responsibilities: * Develop the Contract Channel in assigned markets, identifying new business opportunities in hotels, restaurants, hospitality chains, architecture and interior design studios. * Manage end-to-end projects—from specification phase to closure—coordinating technical requirements, timelines, proposals, and follow-up. * Build long-term relationships with architects, interior designers, decorators, hotel developers, and restaurant groups. * Participate in tenders, prepare bids, and develop project-specific proposals. * Represent the brand at international trade fairs, professional events, and commercial visits. * Conduct market analysis, identify trends, and propose actions to strengthen presence in the contract segment. * Manage commercial relationships with key partners, showrooms, and collaborating studios. * Collaborate with internal teams (product, marketing, logistics, and sales) to ensure proper project execution. * Prepare activity reports, sales forecasts, and track Contract Channel KPIs. Skills and Knowledge Required: * Experience — Commercial or business development experience in the Contract, Interior Design, Retail, or Home Decoration sectors. — Prior experience as Export Area Manager or Commercial Manager overseeing international markets. — Experience managing B2B projects with hospitality clients, architecture and interior design studios, design firms, or high-end furniture companies. — Familiarity with specifiers (architects/interior designers) and understanding of their decision-making processes. — Experience with decorative materials, textiles, furniture, lighting, carpets, or premium interior design solutions is highly valued. — Experience managing Key Accounts is a plus. * Technical Competencies — Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office. — CRM knowledge, preferably HubSpot. — Analytical ability and strategic commercial vision. — Valid driver’s license and current ability to drive. — Willingness to travel nationally and internationally. — Occasional attendance at national and international trade fairs. * Key Competencies — 100% commercial mindset, results-oriented, and opportunity-focused. — Excellent negotiation, communication, and client relationship skills. — Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with a high degree of autonomy. — Organized, proactive, dynamic, and initiative-driven profile. — Aesthetic sensitivity and affinity for the design/interior design sector. — International outlook and open-mindedness. * Education — Bachelor’s or undergraduate degree in Business Administration and Management (ADE), Marketing, Interior Design, Architecture, or related field. — Additional training in project management or international sales is valued. * Languages — English and Spanish are mandatory. — Additional languages are valued.
