You define us—you make SGS. **Job Description** We are seeking a **Technical Spare Parts and Materials Technician** to join our team and support our commitment to delivering the highest quality and service to our clients. The selected candidate will join a major nuclear facility located in the Ascó area. Your main responsibilities will include: * Receiving and performing technical inspections of materials. * Reviewing and interpreting technical documentation. * Conducting visual inspections and taking measurements. * Identifying and validating mechanical materials. * Preparing reports. **Requirements** What do you need to meet? * Education in **Higher Technical Degree in Mechanical Engineering** or equivalent. * Experience in **materials management**. * Knowledge of mechanical equipment: pumps, motors, valves, piping, heat exchangers, bearings, flanges, gaskets, and similar components. * Familiarity with industrial regulations, design codes, and materials standards. * English proficiency at **B2 level**, especially for reading and interpreting technical documentation. * Advanced office software skills. * Valid driver’s license and personal vehicle. * Living in the Ascó area is desirable. **Required Soft Skills**: Teamwork ability, analytical capability, and problem-solving skills. **Additional Information** **What Can We Offer You?** Working at SGS means joining a team where innovation, integrity, and safety are **our DNA.** **Our best secret?** The people who make up SGS.
