Job Summary: We are seeking a home care assistant to support daily activities and promote user autonomy, including transfers and medication management. Key Responsibilities: 1. Assistance with personal hygiene, dressing, feeding, and daily activities. 2. Promotion of users' autonomy in their own homes. 3. Management of medical appointments and accompaniment to consultations. This is a home-based care position offered on a part-time basis from Monday to Friday (morning or afternoon shifts), as well as weekends and holidays. The contract is temporary, intended to cover summer vacations, with an expected start date in June. Main duties include assisting with personal hygiene, dressing, feeding, and other daily activities while promoting each user’s autonomy. Transfers between bed, wheelchair, and armchair are performed; assistance is provided for mobility within the home; and medication is supervised according to medical prescriptions. Medical appointments are scheduled by phone, and the assistant accompanies users to consultations. For minors with disabilities, care is provided at home and assistance is given in accompanying them to school or activity centers. Work takes place in the Sant Martí and Sant Andreu districts of Barcelona. * Vocational training qualification: Intermediate Level Technician in Nursing Auxiliary Care; Intermediate Level Technician in Socio-Healthcare for Dependent Persons; Professional Certification in Socio-Healthcare for Dependent Persons in Social Institutions; or Professional Certification in Socio-Healthcare for Dependent Persons at Home. * Knowledge of hoists is desirable. * Training courses related to promoting equality, as well as courses related to elderly care, patient care, transfers, etc., will be positively considered. * Desired competencies: Integrity and honesty, customer orientation, planning and organization, teamwork, and communication skills.
