Within the Risk Process Control Department, we ensure that this control framework is truly effective and lead a strategic initiative focused on defining and implementing an advanced process analysis methodology, as well as identifying and assessing risks and controls. We seek to hire a technically skilled, data-oriented professional eager to participate in designing, simulating, and building risk and control indicators (KRIs/KCIs). You will work cross-functionally with business and systems teams, contributing both to technical-functional definition and implementation of data-driven solutions. This is a highly analytical role with significant organizational impact and learning opportunities within a dynamic environment. The position is located at CaixaBank’s Corporate Services buildings in Madrid. Your main responsibilities will include, among others: * Translating functional requirements into technical specifications for indicator development. * Defining risk and control indicators and collaborating with Systems teams on their implementation. * Identifying and understanding information sources required for indicator development. * Validating data integrity, quality, and consistency. * Strong data orientation and collaboration with systems and business teams. * Conducting simulations prior to indicator implementation. * Validating and monitoring indicator results. * Generating reports using BI tools and delivering periodic reporting. Minimum Requirements * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Mathematics, or related field. * Advanced proficiency in SQL programming. * Intermediate or advanced proficiency in ETL procedures. * Minimum 1 year of experience in Information Systems or data environments within the financial sector. * Advanced user of office productivity software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.). * Experience in relational database modeling and design, and Oracle databases is desirable. * Positive consideration will be given to experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP: BigQuery, Dataflow…), Qlik Sense or Power BI, Python or R. * At least 1 year of experience in Control Systems management is considered a strong asset. * At least 2 years of experience in developing/validating risk and control indicators is considered a strong asset.
