Position Summary: IT Systems Technician responsible for hardware, software, and network installation, configuration, diagnosis, and troubleshooting, providing user support and IT maintenance. Key Responsibilities: 1. Hardware equipment installation and configuration. 2. Technical troubleshooting and resolution for software, hardware, and network issues. 3. User support and IT maintenance. IT Systems Technician opportunity in Barcelona. The selected candidate will be responsible for hardware equipment installation and configuration, as well as technical troubleshooting and resolution related to software, hardware, and networks. Basic network management will be performed, including switch, router, and WIFI system configuration. User support will be provided by resolving common incidents involving applications, email, and printers, escalating more complex issues as needed. Tasks will also include IT maintenance at city libraries, among other duties inherent to the position. Full-time employment, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday. Working hours will be scheduled as either morning or afternoon shifts between 08:00 and 20:00, respecting legally mandated breaks. This is a temporary contract. * Minimum two years’ prior experience performing duties similar to those described in this vacancy. * Valid driver’s license enabling travel throughout the province of Barcelona. * We seek a proactive and dynamic individual. * Proximity of residence to the workplace is desirable. .
