ELECTRICAL TECHNICIAN AND PROGRAMMER

Job Summary: We are seeking an electrical technician and programmer to program PLCs and HMIs, integrate systems, diagnose faults, and collaborate on improvements and maintenance. Key Responsibilities: 1. PLC and HMI Programming (Omron and Siemens) 2. Electrical and software fault diagnosis and resolution 3. Collaboration in continuous improvement and new projects UPM collaborates with GAMO in searching for an electrical technician and programmer. • Program PLCs and HMIs (Omron and Siemens). • Integrate and configure sensors, variable frequency drives, and safety systems. • Diagnose and resolve electrical and software faults at the machinery and building level. • Participate in the installation and commissioning of new projects. • Collaborate with the Process Engineering team to implement improvements and new functionalities. • Perform various maintenance tasks, providing support to the maintenance team. * Minimum 1 year of experience. • Experience in PLC programming and reading electrical schematics. • Ability to diagnose and resolve complex problems under pressure. * Medium-level Vocational Training Certificate (FP de Grado Medio) * Competencies / Knowledge: • Technical training in electricity, electronics, or industrial automation. • Knowledge of industrial safety regulations. • Solid knowledge of electrical schematic interpretation and industrial safety regulations. * Permanent employment contract * Full-time position * Additional information: Salary according to the collective agreement for the iron and steel industry in the province of Barcelona.
