We are seeking personnel to perform night picking tasks in a fish products warehouse at Mercabarna, Barcelona. The working schedule is from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM, Monday through Friday, with immediate start. Main responsibilities include order preparation using a voice-picking system, ensuring accuracy and efficiency, as well as strapping and packaging products for dispatch. Additional duties involve warehouse organization, cleaning, and assisting with goods receipt. The work environment is dynamic and requires speed, teamwork ability, and attention to detail. Prior experience in fresh product warehouses and operation of stackers, pallet trucks, or order pickers is valued. Access is convenient via Metro Line 9, with a direct station inside the premises. A stable full-time night contract is offered, along with opportunities for professional development within the logistics area. Compensation includes a base salary of €9.74/hour plus a night shift allowance, raising the effective rate to €12.16/hour, with an uninterrupted 8-hour shift and statutory breaks. Necessary training will be provided for operating the voice-picking system and material handling equipment. Minimum one year of experience as a warehouse assistant in order preparation tasks. Experience in the food industry and handling fresh products is especially valued. Immediate availability and completion of primary education are mandatory. Proficiency in operating stackers, pallet trucks, and order pickers, as well as competence in voice-picking systems, is required. Ability to work collaboratively and follow precise instructions is essential.
