Wash and peel fresh fruits and vegetables. Measure, weigh, and mix ingredients. Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, presentation standards, and food preparation checklists. Prepare cold food items. Operate ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers. Test food to ensure it is cooked properly. Monitor food quality during preparation. Set up and clean food workstations. Portion and serve food in appropriate containers and quantities. Clean and sanitize kitchen areas, tables, utensils, knives, equipment, etc. Check and verify that appliance and food temperatures are accurate. Comply with all company and safety and security policies and procedures, report maintenance and repair needs, accidents, injuries, and unsafe working conditions to management, and complete safety training and certifications. Maintain a neat and professional uniform and personal appearance. Keep confidential information confidential and protect company assets. Communicate with others using clear and professional language. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, support the team in achieving common goals, listen to colleagues' concerns, and respond appropriately. Comply with quality expectations and standards. Stand, sit, and walk for extended periods during shifts. Bend, twist, pull, stoop, and reach above the head and below the knees. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing 25 pounds or less without assistance. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.
