At **Grupo Planeta**, we are seeking a student with interest in the publishing sector and reading, ideally specializing in Essay. You will join the **Essay Department**, specifically the **Ariel** imprint, carrying out **Editorial Internships**.
What will your day-to-day responsibilities be?
* Receive, classify, and register editorial proposals and manuscripts.
* Assist in preparing and sending responses to unsolicited manuscripts, following editorial team instructions.
* Request permissions and other materials required for editing.
* Create and update editorial files, design files, and internal project documentation.
* Style and prepare manuscripts prior to sending them for proofreading or layout.
* Review covers, spreads, credits, and commercial texts under editorial team supervision.
* Collect and organize cover-related materials, such as author biographies, back-cover texts, flaps, photographs, and promotional texts.
* Prepare and coordinate shipments of copies and promotional materials to authors, collaborators, and influencers.
* Support the team with daily operational needs of the publishing imprint.
What would we like to see in your CV?
* Studies in History, Philosophy, Humanities, or
A Master’s degree in Publishing is desirable.
* Advanced level of English
* Personal motivation for the publishing sector, especially in the field of essays.
