We are currently looking for a Nursing Assistant to join our center for people with physical disabilities located in Cuenca. Responsibilities: Provide direct care, personal support, training, and supervision in self-care and daily living activities to promote autonomy in this area and in users’ interactions with their environment. Maintain and comply with personal hygiene and cleanliness guidelines according to each user’s individual care plan, respecting their privacy. Organize users’ time and maintain appropriate daily and mealtime routines by adhering to internal regulations, monitoring, respecting, and overseeing their sleep hours and ensuring rest is carried out correctly. Correctly use technical aids and communication systems for those users who have them. Provide individualized accompaniment and support to users to improve their physical, psychological, and psychosocial functioning. Implement individual behavioral habit intervention programs, dress routines, rehabilitation protocols, and monitoring and recording activities in coordination with psychologists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, physiotherapists, registered nurses (DUEs), and other technical team members. Collaborate in documenting problematic behaviors and in other records that help improve users’ quality of life by providing information to the various professionals working with users. Carry out interventions following technical team-established guidelines, detailing progress in training and autonomy promotion across all areas of each user’s life, sharing updates during module meetings or whenever necessary. Collaborate in implementation and evaluation tasks across various psychosocial care and intervention areas: self-care, activities of daily living, psychomotor skills, leisure and free time, community integration, etc. Accompany, support, and supervise users during medical appointments and any other health-related circumstances.
