**Job Description** At The Whiteam Consulting, we are seeking a Senior Java Functional Analyst with extensive experience in analysis, design, and development of applications to join a stable project supporting and maintaining web and mobile applications. We are looking for a candidate with solid Java technology expertise, capable of leading functional analysis, collaborating closely with end users, and participating in the design, development, and evolution of technological solutions. If you are passionate about functional analysis and Java development, and wish to join a highly specialized team, we want to meet you! **Responsibilities** * Gather and analyze functional requirements and business needs. * Prepare functional and technical specifications. * Design, plan, and participate in the development and implementation of solutions. * Act as the liaison with users to ensure alignment of solutions with business needs. * Monitor and ensure the quality of developed applications. * Diagnose and resolve incidents in web and mobile applications. * Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams throughout the entire development lifecycle. * Demonstrate autonomy, analytical capability, and a proactive attitude in problem solving. **Requirements** * Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Java Functional Analyst. * Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Java Developer. * Solid experience with Java 8\. * Experience developing with JSP and Portlets. * Experience using Eclipse. * Experience deploying on IBM WebSphere Application Server (WAS). * Experience with Git and Subversion. * Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. * Experience developing and integrating REST services. * Strong analytical, communication, and user-oriented skills. **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience in mobile application projects. * Experience in evolutionary maintenance and application support. * Knowledge of agile methodologies. **Conditions** * Location: Madrid (C/ Alcalá 522\). * Work mode: Hybrid (in-office on Mondays and Tuesdays). * Employment contract: Annual gross salary between €28,000 and €30,000, depending on experience. * Start date: As soon as possible. **Company** Joining THEWHITEAM means collaborating with a company composed of professionals with extensive experience in technology consulting.
