At Compass Group, the leading provider of foodservice solutions for hospitals, schools, and residential care facilities, we are seeking an experienced Cook for our site in Torrejón – Madrid. Your responsibilities will include: 1. Preparing the daily menu and special service meals 2. Maintaining order and cleanliness in the kitchen and work areas. 3. Complying with HACCP protocols, hygiene, and food safety standards. 4. Collaborating with the team to ensure high-quality service in collective catering. ### **Requirements** 1. Minimum 2 years’ experience as a cook, preferably in hospitals, residential care facilities, or schools. 2. Knowledge of HACCP, occupational risk prevention, and food hygiene. 3. Immediate availability to start. 4. Having a car or motorcycle is highly desirable if residing outside Torrejón. 5. Responsible, organized individual with strong teamwork skills. 6. Fluency in spoken and written Spanish is mandatory. ### **We Offer** - Initial contract of 3–6 months, with potential for conversion to an indefinite-term contract based on performance. * 40-hour workweek * Rotating schedules from Monday to Sunday, with two legally mandated rest days (rotating), including at least one weekend off per month * Rotating shifts assigned according to center needs and roster (shifts are assigned, not selected): * Morning shift: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM * Afternoon shift: 12:30 PM – 9:00 PM * Including a 30-minute meal break * Immediate start is mandatory * Salary aligned with the Collective Agreement for Collective Catering, paid in 14 installments: €1,184 gross per month, with potential increase based on experience
