Job Summary: SOCOTEC Spain is seeking an Architect or Structural Engineer to technically lead high-complexity building construction projects, coordinating teams and clients. Key Highlights: 1. Lead building structure projects with high technical complexity. 2. Coordinate internal teams and serve as the technical liaison with clients. 3. Develop diverse structural solutions. We work on technically complex projects, delivering engineering solutions focused on sustainability, innovation, and technical excellence. What will be your mission? You will join the Structures Department, participating in the development and coordination of building construction projects of varied typologies and complexity, technically leading assigned projects and coordinating both internal teams and technical communication with clients. What will be your responsibilities? * Management, development, and delivery of building structure projects. * Coordination of the project team (engineers and BIM modelers). * Preparation and review of structural calculation models. * Development of structural solutions for: + concrete + steel structures + foundations + retaining structures + timber structures (valuable) * Technical coordination with architecture, MEP, and other disciplines. * Participation in meetings with clients, regulatory bodies, and external stakeholders. * Preparation and review of: + drawings + reports + calculation justifications + technical specifications * Technical monitoring and control of project deliverables. What are we looking for? * Architect or Engineer with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in building structural design. * Experience in projects involving: + residential buildings + healthcare facilities + commercial buildings + unique/special structures * Experience in technical project coordination. * Knowledge of Spanish structural regulations. * Advanced proficiency in: + Robot Structural Analysis + CYPECAD * Valuable knowledge of: + SAP2000 + Cedrus + BIM / 3D modeling * Experience liaising with: + architectural firms + project managers + clients + regulatory bodies What do we offer? * Permanent contract. * Full-time position. * Location: Madrid. * Working hours: + Monday to Thursday: 9:00 AM – 6:30 PM + Friday: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM * Remote work opportunities. * Birthday leave. * Flexible compensation program. * Salary commensurate with experience. **If you are interested in joining our team and meet the requirements, we look forward to your application!**
