3D Mechanical Design Engineer – Drone (UAV) Development

DESCRIPTION We need to hire a **3D Mechanical Design Engineer** with at least **2 years of experience** to participate in a stable project within the Defense sector, collaborating on the development of fixed-wing drones. The selected candidate will participate in the mechanical design of aerospace platforms, contributing to aircraft design and integration, equipment layout and optimization, creation of digital mock-ups, 3D CAD assemblies, and technical documentation, working within a multidisciplinary engineering environment. **What do we offer?** * Permanent contract with us. * Stable project within the Defense sector. * Participation in drone development projects. * Hybrid work mode: 40% telecommuting. * Workplace: San Fernando de Henares (Madrid). * Flexible working hours from Monday to Thursday, with arrival between 08:00 and 09:00 and departure between 17:00 and 18:00, including one hour for lunch. * Intensive workday on Fridays, from 08:00 to 15:00. * Intensive work schedule during summer. * Work equipment provided by the client due to security requirements. * Professional development. * Job stability. * Competitive salary based on experience \+ access to flexible compensation. REQUIREMENTS * Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or equivalent. * At least 2 years of experience in mechanical design using 3D CAD tools. * Experience in developing 3D CAD assemblies and drawings. * Experience in designing interfaces between equipment and structure. * Experience in developing complete digital mock-ups. * Experience in creating and managing bills of materials (BOM). * Experience in configuration control of platforms (change control, concessions, and design instructions). * Solid knowledge of composite materials, including design, manufacturing, and/or structural analysis of components. * Intermediate level of English. * Expert level of Spanish. #### **Desirable Requirements** * Experience with Siemens NX. * Experience in the aerospace, automotive, or railway sectors. * Experience in UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) or other aerial platform development. * Experience in integration of aerospace systems and structures. * Knowledge of aerospace product development processes. * Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.
