Are you ready? **What are we looking for?** -------------------------- From the Corporate Technology Directorate, within the Infrastructure and Operations area, we are seeking a **Cloud Communications Technician**, tasked with working in multicloud environments, administering communication services, and enhancing SD\-WAN. **Where are we located?** ------------------- This position is based at our Tablas offices, located at Calle María Tubau, 10\. **What will your responsibilities be?** ---------------------------------------- * **Administration of communication services in Cloud environments:** Support and evolution of communication and security services across the Cloud regions where Mapfre operates. * **Backbone SD\-WAN (HERMES) Administration:** As a member of the team, you will share administration and support tasks for the Backbone interconnecting Mapfre’s Data Centers and Cloud landing zones in AWS, Azure, GCP, and OCI. Operations include on-call shifts and out-of-business-hours production changes. * **Technical coordination of projects:** You will maintain smooth technical communication with teams involved in projects, ensuring technical alignment and correct implementation of proposed solutions. * **Develop automation** enabling the transformation of communication infrastructures. **What do we require you to know?** ------------------------------- * University degree in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, or equivalent. * Good level of English for working in international environments (B2 or higher). * Experience in large organizations with complex environments. * Advanced knowledge of networking and infrastructure services such as BGP, DNS, or DHCP. * Knowledge of SD\-WAN. * Experience in multicloud environments with major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, or GCP). * Knowledge of security tools such as Fortinet or Palo Alto. * CI/CD tools, DevOps knowledge, and use of GitHub Actions. * Ability to develop Python scripts for task automation. * Experience in infrastructure automation using Terraform or Ansible is highly desirable. **What competencies are required for this role?** -------------------------------------------------- * Strong communication skills. * Problem-solving ability. * Attention to detail. * Initiative. * Teamwork and collaboration skills. **What do we offer?** ---------------------- * Flexible working hours, allowing you to meet your personal needs. * A flexible compensation program including meal vouchers, childcare vouchers, health insurance, life insurance, employee discounts, etc. If you reside in Madrid city, a shuttle bus service to the office is also available. * Access to an attractive pension plan. * Discounts on products and services offered by our company. * Summer reduced working hours. * You will be the protagonist of your learning path, with access to thousands of resources to further advance your technical knowledge.
