At Ricoh Spain, we continue driving our customers’ digital transformation and are seeking to hire a Pre-Sales Engineer for our Digital Workplace area, specialized in IT hardware. You will be responsible for designing, sizing, and presenting Digital Workplace solutions focused on IT hardware (workstations, mobility, peripherals, and associated services), aligned with customer needs and the company’s commercial strategy—ensuring technical, economic, and operational feasibility. Therefore, we require the following qualifications/experience: * IT Hardware solutions for workstations. * Digital Workplace and modern workplace models. * Managed services and recurring contracts. Basic knowledge of: * Windows / Microsoft 365 * Endpoint Management (Intune, SCCM, etc.) * Workplace security (basic) Experience: * More than 5 years in IT pre-sales, Workplace consulting, or solution engineering roles. * Experience in B2B environments and large accounts. * Public sector experience is desirable. Key Competencies * Strong communication and presentation skills. * Customer- and results-oriented mindset. * Analytical capability and business vision (TCO, ROI). * Teamwork with sales and operations teams. * Autonomy and proactivity. * Degree in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field. * Vendor certifications (HP, Lenovo, Dell, Microsoft) are desirable. Minimum English level B2. You won’t use it daily, but some sessions with vendors will be conducted in English. Roles and Responsibilities Main Responsibilities: Sales Support * Accompany the sales team in Digital Workplace opportunities, focusing on hardware and associated services. * Analyze customer technical and functional requirements (workplace, user, security, mobility, sustainability). * Participate in client meetings as the technical reference. Solution Design * Design workstation architectures (PCs, laptops, thin clients, tablets, monitors, docking stations, peripherals). * Define standardization, fleet renewal, and lifecycle management solutions. * Integrate hardware with DWP services. Deployment & Rollout * Device as a Service (DaaS) * Asset management and reporting Proposals and Tenders * Prepare technical and commercial proposals (RFP, RFQ, public and private tenders). * Size cost models, margins, and TCO. * Collaborate on drafting technical documentation and executive presentations. Vendor Relations * Serve as the technical contact point for vendors (HP, Lenovo, Dell, Microsoft, etc.). * Validate compatibility, roadmaps, and certifications. * Support homologations and technical demos. Transition to Operations * Ensure proper handover of the solution to delivery and operations teams. * Define SLAs, KPIs, and service models. * Participate in pilot projects and proof-of-concept (PoC) trials.
