Job Summary: We are seeking a fishmonger to join our team, responsible for handling, cutting, and arranging fish on display, ensuring freshness and quality while delivering an excellent shopping experience. Key Highlights: 1. Expert handling of fish and maintenance of product quality. 2. Collaboration in team management and stock control. 3. As part of the store team and reporting to the Fish Market Manager, your responsibilities will include: * Conducting daily receipt of goods (fish), ensuring quality and freshness upon entry. * Handling, cleaning, and cutting fish to guarantee freshness and quality standards. * Arranging the fish counter so that the full product range is accessible. * Recommending, advising, and informing customers about product characteristics to ensure an excellent shopping experience. * Cleaning, organizing, and supervising fish-handling tools and equipment, as well as maintaining facilities (chillers and sinks). * Collaborating with the Fish Market Manager in supervising tasks and managing the fishmonger team. * Monitoring existing stock, supporting the Fish Market Manager in conducting inventories and placing orders.
