Our service is delivered while upholding our core pillars: people, environment, and society Responsibilities: We are seeking an Industrial First-Class Fitter to participate in a scheduled shutdown at a chemical/petrochemical industrial plant in Tarragona. Estimated service duration: 5 weeks, with commencement scheduled for September 2026. Key responsibilities include: * Performing mechanical maintenance tasks during the plant shutdown, with particular involvement in interventions on process towers/columns and static equipment. * Supporting the opening, preparation, disassembly, and reassembly of internal components of distillation towers and process columns—including trays, distributors, demisters, supports, fastening elements, and other similar internal components. * Assembling, disassembling, and adjusting static equipment, valves, accessories, flanged components, and mechanical parts at the industrial plant. * Performing equipment opening and closing, blanking and unblanking, gasket and bolting replacement, preparation for hydrostatic and pneumatic tests, and supporting mechanical cleaning activities. * Executing controlled bolt tightening, basic alignment, measurements, and mechanical inspections in accordance with established work procedures. * Using hand, pneumatic, electric, and hydraulic tools, as well as lifting and handling equipment, while complying with applicable safety regulations. * Carrying out tasks in confined spaces and at height, applying corresponding preventive procedures. Requirements: * Minimum verifiable experience of 3–5 years as an industrial fitter, mechanical fitter, or First-Class Technician in industrial maintenance; experience in interventions on distillation towers, process columns, and static equipment—including disassembly and reassembly of internal components—is especially valued. * Documented experience performing work in confined spaces and at height. * AEQT certification and valid Basic Occupational Risk Prevention (PRL) training (60 hours) are desirable, as well as specific training in confined space work, working at height, and work permit systems. * Availability to start on 21 September 2026 and remain throughout the entire duration of the shutdown. * A versatile, committed, punctual individual with strong safety orientation and accustomed to working in industrial shutdown environments. What we offer: * Temporary contract, estimated duration of 5 weeks, with potential continuity in other services or shutdowns. * Working schedule from Monday to Saturday, 7:00–19:00, including the legally mandated meal break and rest periods. * Salary to be agreed upon for the position offered.
