**Job Description** We are seeking an efficient and meticulous Maintenance Technician to join our team in Soria, Spain. In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of equipment and machinery to ensure optimal operational performance. The ideal candidate must demonstrate strong organizational skills, analytical thinking, and a commitment to safety and quality in the workplace. * Perform preventive and corrective maintenance tasks on equipment, machinery, and industrial systems to minimize downtime • Diagnose equipment failures using analytical and problem-solving technical skills to identify root causes • Carry out repairs and replacements of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic components with precision and attention to detail * Maintain organized maintenance records, documentation, and service files for all service activities and equipment performance • Conduct routine inspections and tests to ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently • Collaborate with production teams to schedule maintenance activities and communicate any equipment-related issues or concerns • Adhere to all safety protocols and regulatory requirements during maintenance operations * Use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment to complete assigned tasks • Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests and equipment breakdowns • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to optimize maintenance processes and equipment reliability **Requirements** * 2–5 years of hands-on experience in maintenance, equipment repair, or a related technical field • Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment * Solid knowledge of mechanical systems, equipment operation, and maintenance principles • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and maintenance manuals • Strong understanding of safety standards and regulatory compliance requirements • Excellent organizational and time-management skills • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities • Preferred: Experience with electrical, hydraulic systems, or PLC programming * Preferred: Knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance techniques • Preferred: Relevant safety certifications or equipment-specific certifications • Preferred: Experience with HVAC systems or industrial machinery maintenance • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment • High attention to detail and commitment to work quality **Additional Information** * Technical knowledge: Familiarity with equipment, systems, technologies, electricity, mechanics, pneumatics, hydraulics, and electronics * Diagnostic skills to quickly identify problems and failures in assets. Must be able to effectively use diagnostic tools and equipment and apply problem-solving methods to find solutions. * Manual skills, such as using tools, welding equipment, measuring instruments, and other specialized devices. Maintenance technicians must possess good manual dexterity to perform precise repairs and adjustments. * Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures, including proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and understanding of risks associated with maintenance tasks. * Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers, supervisors, and other departments.
