FUNCTIONS, TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Material preparation: Clean, cut and assemble metal parts prior to welding. * Blueprint reading: Interpret technical drawings and specifications to perform precise joints. * Material selection: Especially electrodes and TIG for butt and angle joints. * Welding process: Apply welding techniques to securely and efficiently join metals. * Quality control: Inspect welds to detect defects, cracks or imperfections. * Equipment maintenance: Check and repair welding tools to ensure proper operation. * Compliance with safety regulations.
