The **Universidad Camilo José Cela** is seeking to hire a **Data Analyst.**
### **RESPONSIBILITIES:**
* Analyze business data to identify trends, deviations, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
* Extract, clean, transform, and structure data from various internal and external sources.
* Design, develop, update, and maintain reports, dashboards, and scorecards for KPI monitoring.
* Interpret results and translate data into actionable recommendations for decision-making.
* Provide analytical support to marketing and promotion teams for campaign tracking, commercial activities, initiative performance, and indicator evolution.
* Define, review, and monitor key business metrics in collaboration with relevant departments.
* Conduct recurring and ad hoc analyses to address specific business needs.
* Collaborate with marketing and promotion teams to understand requirements, prioritize needs, and translate them into analytical solutions.
* Work cross-functionally with IT/Technology, Data Management, and other departments to ensure data availability, quality, integration, and proper utilization.
* Ensure consistency, reliability, and quality of data used in reporting and analysis.
* Identify opportunities to automate analytical and reporting processes to improve operational efficiency.
* Support the evolution of the organization’s data culture by fostering a more analytical, evidence-driven business perspective.
* Collaborate on improving processes, tools, and methodologies related to data usage.
* Prepare executive presentations and reports to share findings with business units and other internal stakeholders.
### **REQUIREMENTS:**
* University degree (preferably in technical, mathematical, or engineering fields).
* Minimum 3 years of experience in similar roles.
* Solid knowledge of data analysis and business analytics.
* Proficiency in SQL for querying, extracting, and processing data.
* Proficiency in Python for analysis, data processing, and process automation.
* Experience with data visualization and reporting tools, especially Microsoft Power BI.
* Knowledge of applied statistics for data analysis.
* Knowledge of data mining.
* Familiarity with Big Data environments and concepts.
* Regular use of Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
* Ability to interpret complex information and translate it into clear business conclusions.
* Ability to work with multiple information sources and structure them in a useful and actionable way.
