PURCHASING TECHNICIAN \- PROCUREMENT DEXIS Ibérica, a company specializing in industrial solutions and distribution of supplies for sectors such as mechanical transmission, hydraulics, and industrial maintenance, is seeking to hire a Purchasing Technician \- Procurement. What will this position offer you? Team and work environment: You will join a centralized team based in Zaragoza comprising six professionals, offering a close-knit, collaborative environment with strong peer support. Stable and impactful project: You will play a key role in ensuring proper product procurement for DEXIS Ibérica’s various branches, directly contributing to guaranteeing customer service. End-to-end process visibility: You will work cross-functionally with suppliers and departments including logistics, sales, and finance, gaining insight into how your work impacts the business. Industrial specialization: You will develop within a technical environment, working with MRO, mechanical transmission, and hydraulic products—acquiring highly valued sector-specific knowledge. Advanced tools and processes: You will use well-defined systems and automated processes, enabling you to focus on planning, analysis, and continuous improvement. Stable working hours: Standard schedule from 8:00 to 17:00, with shortened Fridays. WHAT WILL YOU DO ON A DAILY BASIS? Your mission will be to ensure proper product procurement for DEXIS Ibérica’s branches by managing internal requirements, suppliers, and stock levels. Reporting to the Procurement Director, your main responsibilities will include: * Managing procurement requirements and issuing purchase orders to suppliers. * Monitoring deliveries, deadlines, and incidents. * Controlling stock levels, turnover rates, coverage, and reorder points. * Analyzing consumption patterns to anticipate needs and prevent stockouts or excess inventory. * Coordinating with suppliers and internal departments such as logistics, sales, and finance. * Periodically reviewing purchasing terms and proposing process improvements. WHAT WILL MAKE YOU SUCCEED IN THIS POSITION? We are looking for a candidate with a Higher Vocational Training Certificate (CFGS) in Transport and Logistics or International Trade, a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Management (ADE), Engineering, or a related field. Specific training in Supply Chain or Procurement will be considered an asset. Relevant experience of 1–3 years in procurement, planning, purchasing, or logistics roles—preferably within industrial environments—is required. Experience with industrial supplies, mechanical transmission, hydraulics, or technical products will be especially valued. Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAGE X3, SAP MM, Navision, Oracle, or similar) and advanced Excel skills—including data analysis, pivot tables, and information management—are essential. Knowledge of MRP and stock management will be considered an advantage. English proficiency will be valued for communication with international suppliers or customers.
