We are seeking a highly motivated Applications Engineer to join our team in Spain. All applicants must be eligible to work in Spain. **Responsibilities / What you will do** * Lead and support the deployment of new software and hardware applications, with emphasis on integration and advanced alloy manufacturing workflows. * Characterise and optimise application performance (e.g., reliability, user efficiency, thermal performance, and system compatibility). * Conduct experimental testing and analysis of application feedstocks and integrated systems. * Collaborate with process engineers and design teams to ensure application performance aligns with end\-use applications. * Develop and maintain technical databases, test standards, and qualification processes for new applications. * Support R\&D projects, contributing to technical reports, publications, and presentations for clients. * Stay current with emerging applications, technologies, and industry standards in related manufacturing methods. **Experience / Who you are** * Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field. * Proven experience in technical applications development or systems engineering within a manufacturing context. * Strong background in physical and functional characterisation (mechanical, thermal, or system analysis). * Hands\-on experience with testing techniques and validation tools for complex engineering systems. * Ability to design and execute experiments, interpret data, and draw actionable conclusions for stakeholders. * Proficiency in technical reporting and the ability to communicate results to both technical and non\-technical stakeholders. * Knowledge of how applications interact with design (DfAM) and material\-process behaviors. * Familiarity with simulation tools (FEA) or engineering software for testing application behavior. * Experience with quality systems and qualification frameworks, such as aerospace or automotive standards
