The forklift operator position focuses on the handling and logistical management of goods within a warehouse environment. Key responsibilities include loading and unloading materials using counterbalance forklifts, ensuring these processes are carried out efficiently and safely. In addition to operating machinery, the role encompasses supplementary warehouse activities such as manual order preparation, picking, and packing—requiring constant coordination with the overall operational workflow. A fundamental aspect of the job is the use of PDA devices for order management and verification, ensuring accuracy in inventory records and shipment preparation. The operator will be responsible for placing goods in designated storage areas, optimizing available space and maintaining an organized work environment. This role is critical to the supply chain, directly contributing to operational agility and end-customer satisfaction through careful and professional product handling. Performance in this position requires strict adherence to safety protocols, careful operation of machinery, and attention to detail in administrative tasks related to stock control. The work environment is dynamic and physically demanding—ideal for organized, methodical individuals capable of working collaboratively under company-established deadlines and quality standards. Compensation will comply with the applicable collective bargaining agreement, with working hours from Monday to Friday under a rotating shift system. The position offers immediate hiring and operates within an industrial setting requiring discipline and punctuality. A valid forklift license is required, along with a minimum of one year’s experience operating counterbalance forklifts. It is essential to have personal transportation to commute to the workplace and to be available for immediate hiring and for rotating shifts covering morning, afternoon, and night shifts.
