We are a company of innovators and problem solvers, united by **The Carrier Way** – our vision, values, and culture. **Job Description: Process Quality Engineer** We are seeking a Quality Engineer specialized in manufacturing and production processes to work within an HVAC industrial plant. A proactive technical profile with product and process knowledge, experience managing quality in industrial environments, and familiarity with quality methodologies (DIVEs, 8Ds, 5Whys, OJT, Ishikawa, control plans, audits, etc.) will be highly valued. **Responsibilities** * Administration, control, and participation in the definition of KPC/KC/AMC assigned to new products, projects, or production lines. * Design, control, and implementation of quality inspection and control methods for assigned new projects, as well as improvement of existing ones. * Conduct product and process audits for risk mitigation. Follow-up and control of resulting action plans. * Design, control, and implementation of fixtures and gages for quality control within the production process. * Monitor and ensure process and equipment capability (Cpk, R\&R). * Perform root cause analysis of issues related to production and/or finished product quality. * Administer and control first articles during different project phases (MCS, Pilots) and initial production, ensuring compliance with defined quality systems. * Define and monitor key quality metrics (KPIs). * Administer, control, and implement secure processes from a quality standpoint for launching new projects. * Implement and maintain all required Quality documentation for new projects (control plans, inspection sheets, acceptance and rejection criteria, tear down, safe launch, process quality instructions, etc.). * Establish and enforce acceptance and rejection criteria for new processes or products. * Enhance and integrate Artificial Intelligence (AI) into the production process to improve quality outcomes. **What We Offer** We value our employees and are committed to your growth and well-being.
