Join our team and help us develop a solution for sustainable, accessible, and democratic construction. **The Challenge** We are seeking a **Junior Structural Engineer** with a solid technical foundation and strong interest in wood structural calculation and parametric design to join our structures team. This position is primarily intended for junior profiles; however, candidates with more experience will also be considered if they align with the role’s philosophy: interest in wood structural calculation, technical curiosity, analytical ability, and motivation for automation and **Requirements** **What You’ll Do at 011h:** * Participate in the structural design and calculation of timber buildings (CLT, GLULAM), from early stages through to construction documentation. * Develop and maintain structural analytical models linked to CAD and BIM models. * Contribute to internal initiatives to automate finite element software calculation model generation, leveraging its API and parametric workflows integrated with Revit or other environments. * Collaborate in defining the structural criteria for 011h’s construction system. * Prepare and review technical documentation: models, schematics, calculation reports, and validations. * Propose improvements to calculation, modeling, and automation processes with tangible impact on projects. * Work within Design & Build environments alongside multidisciplinary teams and using BIM methodology. **Who Are We Looking For?** * Degree in Engineering or Architecture. * Strong foundation in structural analysis and structural reasoning ability. * Clear and demonstrated interest in timber structures. * Motivation for advanced structural calculation, parametric design, and automation. * Interest in and/or knowledge of programming applied to engineering. **We Will Value** * Prior experience (even limited) in structural projects, especially timber. * Familiarity with finite element analysis software. * Programming skills (Python, C#, Grasshopper, or others) applied to calculation or modeling. * Experience with or familiarity with Revit, BIM, and CAD–BIM workflows. * Completion of a Bachelor’s or Master’s thesis (TFG/TFM) or personal projects related to structures, timber, or automation. * Interest in sustainability, industrialization, and carbon footprint reduction. **Benefits** * Real impact: Join a company transforming construction toward a sustainable and planet-positive model. * Professional growth: Individual development plan with continuous learning and training opportunities. * Great atmosphere and collaboration: A multidisciplinary, diverse team with a supportive and close-knit culture. * Well-being and work–life balance: We value balancing your personal and professional life—enjoy two remote workdays per week. * Sustainable offices: Pleasant spaces designed for collaboration and environmental respect. * 30 working days of vacation per year to enjoy your personal time. * Private health insurance with Alan and a flexible compensation plan, allowing you to adapt part of your salary to your needs (transportation, meals, childcare, and more). *At 011h, we foster diversity and inclusion.
